Denny Heck (D)

Father I lift up Denny to you this morning. I do not know where he is in his faith, but I pray for him to know you. Know Jesus as his Savior. I pray for his heart to turn to you and the rest will follow. Plant the seeds of truth in his heart and lead him to you. You do not want anyone to be lost. I pray for him today. Father, flood his heart with your love. I pray for an experience that will change him. I pray for all of the legislatures to value life. The unborn. Protect them Father. Father may they all know your love. In Jesus name I pray, Amen

Father, I pray for Lt. Governor Heck to be delivered from self-focused ambition and to adopt a humble spirit before You and the electorate. Jeremiah 9:23-24 states: Thus says the�Lord:�"Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches,�but�let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the�Lord�who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth.�For in these things I delight, declares the�Lord." I pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lord, this is Easter weekend. I pray that Lt. Governor Heck would be offered the opportunity to reflect on the meaning of this season. I pray there would be someone who would be bold enough to proclaim the evil that mankind evidences apart from You. May he see Jesus as the provision to breach the evil that keeps Your creation from relationship with You. Lord Jesus, thank You for the sacrifice You made on our behalf. It is in Your name I pray, Amen.

Lord, our nation was built on the foundation of the Christian faith (1 Corinthians 3:11). I pray for Lt Governor Heck to realize this. Our founding document, the Constitution, is a part of this foundation. So much is under attack in our country but I especially grieve the attack on the nuclear family. Psalm 11:3 states "If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?" What we do is pray for leaders like Lt Governor Heck to see the effects on righteousness of their policies. May they repent of evil done and come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. In His name, Amen.

Father, I pray for Lt. Governor Heck to open his heart to hear God's message in His Word.�May he repent of evils that are being done in the state of Washington. May he come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Father, I pray for Lt. Governor Heck that he will be drawn to Your light and have an encounter with the living Savior, Jesus Christ. May he not "forsake the path of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness, rejoicing in doing evil and delighting perverseness" (Proverbs 2:13-14). May he come to love Your light and allow that light to direct all that he does. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
