Lord God Alighty, look down upon this man who has chosen to serve in the body known as politics. I lift him before you this late night hour in prayer for protection, health, and safety at home, on travel and when with legislature duties. As the Apostle Paul prayed, so to do I, that the eyes of his understanding be enlightened to see the hope of and in his calling to serve his state and this nation. Grant him the understanding of the men of Issachar who had understanding of the times, and knew what their nation Israel ought to do. Guard his reputation each and every day, that no wrongful purpose be concealed from him, and he has clear sight of the right path and correct answer. Bless his staff, family, those he loves, and those he serves with safety, health, and divine protection. Guard his decisions from those who would deceive to harm his name and reputation. Prosper him, his loved ones, staff, and constituents such that they may contribute greatly to the needs and purposes of good in their state and this land. In Jesus Holy Name Amen, Amen.

Father, thank You for our brother in Christ, Representative Pfluger, who seeks to walk according to Your word and Your will for his life and his family. Bless him and bless his family with good health and safety. Encourage him and give him strength as he continues to serve our nation as a member of the military. We acknowledge his devotion to our nation with his years of active service, and we are grateful for his love and sacrifice. He understands and supports our military in a special way, as well as ensuring the needs of our veterans who have selflessly served. Give him wisdom and guide him as he works to provide for their care and as he stands with our nation in safeguarding our national security. May he walk in unity with our President and administration in building a strong, cohesive government, and guide him as he works across party lines within our Congress. Draw him closer to Your side and uphold him with Your righteous right hand. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Father God, Texas needs God-minded, wisdom-seeking, truth-defending, servant-hearted leaders. Please work in the heart of Representative August Pfluger, that he would be such a leader. Amen

Father, thank You for Representative Pfluger and his bold stand for righteousness in our government. Your word says that righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people. Continue to give him wisdom and discernment so that he may continue to walk in Your righteousness, bringing honor and glory to Your great name, O Lord. Dearest Lord, may he continue to stand courageously and shamelessly for the values of life - sanctity of human life, right to enjoy religious freedom, right to bear arms, right to have a strong military and strong border defense. Bless him for his service to America while serving in the Air Force and for proudly and selflessly defending and protecting our nation as well as those who in Syria and Iraq who posed no threat. He has proclaimed his trust and faith in You, Jesus, so use him to bring others to faith in You. Bless and protect his precious family and hold them safely in Your arms. In Your name, Jesus, I pray. Amen.
