Dear Father and Lord Jesus Christ, Our legislators need Your help and wisdom since the enemy has blinded the hearts and minds of so many today. Please show them The Truth about You, and Righteousness.

Father, I pray for Pete Sessions. Thank you for his service to you and to our country. May he seek you for wisdom and walk in honesty and truth, not serving for money or power or popularity. Guide him. Give him repentance for sin in his life and a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Protect him and his family.

Dear Almighty God. I thank you that You love all Your people and are interested in our wellbeing. I lift up to You Rep. Sessions. May he know you in a powerful way today and may he lean on Your ways and not the ways of this world. Please provide him with Your Wisdom and Truth so that he may serve his district well. Protect him and his family and provide them their needs. Help him to do his part to save the unborn. In the name of Jesus! Lord God, I bring into your presence Rep. Pete Sessions, and ask for your provision and protection for him and his family. Thank you for his service to the people of Texas 17th District, and to our nation. Please give him ears to hear your wisdom and guidance as he makes decisions that will honor you, and fulfill your purpose in his life. May he acknowledge you in all his ways, as you make his path straight. Please give him courage and the strength to stand for truth and righteousness, as he honors you and the constitution of our nation.

Heavenly Father, thank You for answered prayers. Help Pete to draw close to you. May all his decision-making be pleasing to You. In Jesus name, amen.

Father, I pray for Representative Sessions as he presides over the field hearing in Lahaina, HI as the House Oversight and Accountability Committee's Subcommittee on Government Operations and the Federal Workforce assesses the federal response to the wildfires in 2023. Give him wisdom and skill to move the investigation along to unearth truth even if the truth is difficult and condemning to the federal government. May whatever is uncovered lead to improvements. I also pray for those impacted by the wildfires to have their needs met that they may move forward in rebuilding their lives. Please, Lord, protect our country from the damage and loss of life that wildfires can cause. Also, if Representative Sessions is not a follower of Jesus, please make Your presence known and show him his need for a Savior. Amen.
