Kyle Walker (R)

Heavenly Father, thank you for the privilege of praying for Senator Kyle Walker. Thank you for giving him the time and energy required to represent the 31st District of Indiana. It is for Your glory and honor that I lift Mr. Walker in prayer. I ask, in the name of Jesus, on his behalf, that he be surrounded by spirit filled Christian prayer warriors who will speak Your Word of truth and Your values into his life. I pray in agreement with prayer warriors for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a softening of the heart that will enable Senator Walker to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his heart. We pray that he will be convicted to "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ (2 Cor. 10:5). In Jesus name, Amen

Dear Senator Walker- Thank you for serving! I am praying for you from James 1:22-24: 22 "But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not just hearers who deceive themselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; 24 for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was. person he was." Father, thank You for calling us to do more than hear Your word! You have called & equipped us to be able to do Your will! You enable us to practice what we are to do first by studying & meditating on Your word to gain understanding, & then obeying Your word by doing what it says. We desire the works of our faith to bear the good fruits of the Spirit, & not to be self-deceiving, fruitless works that bear the emptiness of vanity. Help Your word to become such a deep part of who we are that we would be quick to hear & obey. In Jesus' name we pray, amen. Blessings, Brenda Schaefer
