Kweisi Mfume (D)

Almighty Father grant Kweisi the wisdom to discern your truth and dwell in your presence until he is filled by your Spirit. Give him the courage to be bold enough to obey your Word. In Jesus's name Amen

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the opportunity and privilege of adding my voice to the spirit filled prayers that are being lifted by Your prayer warriors on behalf of Kweisi Mfume. We pray that he cries out to You for mercy and salvation. Only You, Heavenly Father, know where his heart stands. If Kweisi Mfume refuses to be saved and to honor You and walk in righteousness and justice, we pray that his days in office will be few (Deuteronomy 16:18-20; Proverbs 8:20) and that another, who is a spirit filled believer in Christ be elected to take his place (Psalm 109:8), according to Your will and Your plans for the state of Maryland and for America. In Jesus name, Amen.

Oh God, Forgive me my struggle to pray for so many of our Democrat representatives. We pray that Jesus, our advocate, will take our struggles and present them Father to you for the your best working and outcome for the people and for America. Lord, you know my mind and my heart and I do struggle with being so ideologically, so constitutionally, so theoretically, so purposeful for our nation and people , so spiritually different from what they speak, propose and represent. Heavenly Father, you know our concerns for the direction and the welfare of our nation and the decisions, the choices, the proposals, the actions, so many of which seem to be anti-America freedom, anti-constitutional and anti-Christianity of the progressive/leftist mindset. Father forgive me for my hard core ideology and yes, even my prejudice against the liberal/progressive and "woke" ideology. Lord God, do a work in the lives of these Democrats; bring and allow Your Spirit to be working in and around their lives and their mindset. Only you Lord know the mindset, the reasoning, the purpose of decisions and actions by Congress members and we pray Lord for their recognition of who you are and recognition of the rules and laws of the Constitution and their accountability to both. Thank you, oh God, for hearing us, for granting your mercy for a few righteous people and may your blessing and watch care continue over this nation. Let your spirit bring awakening, renewal, restoration to our Judeo-Christian foundations.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth."

I pray for you personally and as a leader of your state. I am also praying for all in your city with the horrible news we had yesterday of the bridge collapse. May God strengthen you and I pray something good can come from this awful tragedy. In Jesus name, Amen.

We lift our voices in prayer and thanksgiving for Representative Kweisi Mfume We pray for a revelation of Your Word of Truth and Your values into the heart/spirit of Representative Mfume. Enable him to see himself as You see him (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10), to humble himself before You (Isaiah 66:2), repent of his sins, transgressions and iniquities (Psalm 51:17; John 8:3-11), and seek Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of anyone he has sinned against (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11:25). If he does not know You as his Savior, we pray he would have a saving encounter with You (Ephesians 1: 17-23). We pray that Kweisi Mfume be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he serves the people of Maryland and fulfills his duties and responsibilities in the House of Representatives.
