Father, I pray for Derek Stanford. Thank you for his service to Washington. May he seek you for wisdom. May he not serve for money or power but out of love for our country and our Constitution. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a life with through Jesus Christ, Creator, Redeemer. Give him a love for unborn babies and a desire to protect them and the prolife pregnancy centers that help both babies and moms. Protect him and his family.

For Senator Stanford, I declare a reverence for integrity. His voice will echo the will and purposes of God for our country and not burden the system with laborious distractions. His words will advance the kingdom of heaven and he will stand amazed at what You have done. I declare he will laugh in the face of any who oppose You, Lord. Turn him toward Your call for righteousness and fulfill this call by the power of Christ and His blood. Everything Senator Stanford desires to do that is good, fulfill it by Your power. Grant him repentance unto salvation and joy in living by the power of Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord God, Your allowing Derek Stanford to serve the state of Washington at this time is a divine appointment. May he be well aware of his responsibility to You, our holy and righteous God and to the people who have elected him. I declare over him that he shall fulfill the destiny for which You created him. Amen

Lord I offer now this prayer, this petition on behalf of Sen Stanford and Your people who are called by Your name in Washington, and for those to come who shall be called by Your name that through him You may be exalted and in thought, word and deed he may bring the light of Truth through his service. Guide and direct his life, as water being poured from Your hand. Be glorified in all he says, does and supports that those there and we elsewhere may lead peaceful and quiet lives, godly and dignified in every way for we know this pleases You our God and Savior for it is by Biblical government the Gospel is spread openly and in all boldness that many may be saved and come to the knowledge of the Truth. I thank You knowing the Nations You have given as an inheritance to Christ our Savior and the Son in whom You were well pleased. It is in His name I pray, amen.
