Senator Alson, I pray that God will grant you the strength, hope, love, joy, and peace that are possible in Him. I pray that you will have a living encounter with the living God to know His great love for you and desire for you to know Him and experience the truth that sets you free. Amen.

Lord, give Lela eyes to see You in her minutes, days and years. Give her a heart of love for You, the author of life and abundant life. May she seek You, if she doesn't have a relationship with you. May she believe that the Bible is Your guide for living a life that pleases you and blesses those who follow what it says. Thank you, Lord, that You are merciful, patient and long-suffering. That You save us by Your grace, it isn't something we can earn or ever be good enough to deserve. Thank you Jesus, for paying our penalty for sin. We all need You, as none is righteous, not even one. May Lela fear You now and forever more.
