Holy Spirit, we ask You to fill our city, state, and national governmental leaders with wisdom, understanding, discernment, and knowledge.

Father God, again a person I do not know or know how to pray for; I do not know this man or his heart and soul condition, but PTL You do. I commit Governor Ned Lamont to the working of Your Holy Spirit, for the outcome of his eternal soul and his life, that he might be redeemed and that he might make a positive impact on other lives he encounters and in the work he does. Lord, draw him unto yourself and Your purpose for his life. Oh Lord, In the Name and by the power of Jesus Christ and the Spirit he gives us, we pray for this man that You would do a work in his life, in his heart that he might see Your Will and discern your direction for his life and his purpose and mission in Government and as a Governor. May he open his heart and mind to see You and Your guidance and not be prey to the whims and weaknesses of society, of harmful, misdirected ideologies and evil influences. May he seek wisdom, knowledge, understanding and truth for his position in working for the people of his state. Place people in his life and circumstances to be a real witness to Truth and an influence in his decision making. Thank you o' God for hearing our pleas and for Your blessing over America; do not withdraw your favor and sustainment, but sweep the nation with the power of Your Spirit for awakening and cleansing.

I am praying for you today. May you be filled with wisdom and grace as you represent the people you serve. May God always give you his peace and a sound mind. Praying that God strengthens you with his promises , that you and your family will be joyful with times of refreshing and rest.

Heavenly Father, I pray that you would give wisdom to Gov. Lamont as he seeks to keep the people in his state safe from the virus. Turn his heart to you. Guide him as he works with state legislators. Bless the people of Connecticut.

Lord pull the scale from his eyes Let him be strong in your might . Stronger and braver than he is capable on his own but by the power of your Holy Spirit make him yours completely . Thank you Lord that he know your love and your power .
Strength feeble knees that he can and will stand against the forces of evil. And stand against his own party to stand firm with you and righteousness . In Jesus name . AMEN
