Jahana Hayes (D)

We lift our voices in prayer and thanksgiving for Representative Jahana Hayes. We pray for a revelation of Your Word of Truth and Your values into the heart/spirit of Representative Hayes. Enable her to see herself as You see her (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10), to humble herself before You (Isaiah 66:2), repent of her sins, transgression and iniquities (Psalm 51:17; John 8:3-11), and seek Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of anyone she has sinned against (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11;25). If she does not know You as her savior, we pray she would have a saving encounter with You (Ephesians 1: 17-23). We pray that Jahana Hayes is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as she serves the people of Connecticut and fulfills her duties and responsibilities in the House of Representatives. Father, I lift up Representative Jahana Hayes. Thank you for her service to you and to our country. Give her a spirit of gratitude for what you have done for her and for our country. May she not serve for money or power, but as serving you, Creator and Savior. May she ask for your wisdom to guide her. Give her a hunger and thirst for righteousness that she may find life in Jesus Christ. Protect her and her family.

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Representative Jahana Hayes. We lift her up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that she be surrounded by spirit-filled Christian disciples who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into her life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Senator Hayes to receive revelation of Your truth and values into her spirit. We pray that Representative Johaha Hayes is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray she be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen

Heavenly Father, we Pray Representative Jahana Hayes is convicted that she is created in the Your image; woven together in the womb of her mother by Your hands, from conception to birth, for Your purpose and Your plan (Psalm 139:13-16) at a time such as this time (Esther). Lord God, we pray she be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding (Isaiah 11:2)) and to demand of herself honesty, integrity, and loyalty (Psalm 26, Proverbs 11:3), righteousness and justice (Proverbs 21:15). We pray she is convicted to measure every thought, word, decision and action she takes against Your precepts (Psalm 111:10). We pray Representative Hayes sees our constitution as our founding fathers intended. May she be convicted that America is discovered, explored, settled and founded as Your city on a hill (Matthew 5:14) for the purpose of sending Your message of Salvation to every person, place, tribe and nation under heaven (Rev.14:6). We pray that she is convicted that she must be "prepared to give an account to Almighty God"(Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:12). In Jesus name, Amen

Father God, You are lord over all and You long for Jahana to know you as Father and Holy . Your word says the beginning of wisdom is fear of the Lord. I pray for Jahana a holy fear of the Lord that she will make righteous decisions and represent You well . I pray she receive all the blessings and promises that come with fear of the Lord. May your presence be with her pouring out wisdom and understanding council and might knowledge and fear of the Lord. Amen

I lift Connecticut Representative Jahana Hayes before You, Lord. I pray that she would live in full revelation of who You are, seeking to live and walk according Your Truth, in the power of Your Spirit and in the light of Jesus Christ. As she pursues You, may she receive Your wisdom, courage, strength and protection.
