Lord God, the intercessors of our nation raise the health, safety, and needs of this public servant before you in prayer. Grant unto him the wisdom as Soloman had in political and personal things. We pray that the eyes of his understanding be enlightened that he know the hope of your calling. May he be as the men of Issacar that had understanding of the times and knew what their nation ought to do. Give true insight into the future effects of each issue brought before him. Light his pathway with truth and provide him a just balance in all things represented to him. Guard and protect him, in health, welfare and prosperity, and those he loves and those he serves. Give special grace to his staff to accurately represent his positions with integrity. Amen and Amen.

Lord God, Heavenly Father, forgive me my struggles to pray for democratic representatives. I just don't know to pray for people with whom I have ideological, historical, cultural/lifestyle, spiritual differences of understanding government and America, so I commit them to you for your working in their lives and their mindset. Only your spirit can bring understanding and common ground. I thank you God that you love each of us and you have provided Jesus, our Savior, our Counselor and guide for all. I pray that Your Spirit will be working in and around the life and circumstances of Representative Joseph Morelle; That he will open his heart and mind for your wisdom as he sits in Congress and represents the people. Thank you, Lord God, for hearing our pleas and petitions; may Jesus, our advocator take our mumblings and moaning unto your throne for your working and perfect will for Mr. Morelle. May it be your desire and your will to keep your hand on America and to sweep the land with Your Spirit for awakening, repentance and renewal.
