Heavenly Father we thank you and praise you for the courage and wisdom and funds needed that you are giving Michael Cloud to win this position you have appointed him for to glorify your name and for our country to be stronger in Christ.

Dear Lord, I pray for Your hand of protection and Your watchfulness over Representative Michael Cloud. May he place his confidence in You. May he always remember the works of Your hand and follow on the paths You've set for him. I thank you too for his surname "Cloud." Reading Your word, may you use this leader in a powerful way. He will lead in the role You've placed him in with You at his right hand. May your people, alongside Representative Michael Cloud, also place their confidence in God...even the children yet to be born, "that they would arise and tell them [testimonies] to their children." (Ps 78:6) "Then He led them with the cloud by day And all the night with a light of fire. He split the rocks in the wilderness And gave them plenty to drink like the ocean depths. Lord God, I pray that Your Word, spoken by Christian prayer warriors, into the life of Michael Cloud has taken deep root. We pray he has been convicted to see himself as You see him, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27) for Your plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10) at this time in history. We pray that Representative Cloud is convicted of John 3:16, that "...God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not parish but have everlasting life," and that "...The fear of the Lord - that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding," (Job 28:28). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24), and that he is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he represents Texas in the House of Representatives.
