Mike Parson (R)

Dear Father, We pray for your servant, Mike Parson. Go before him and be his rear guard (Is. 52:12); encamp Your angels 'round about him (Ps. 34: 7) with the blood of Christ upon him (1 John 1:7); cover him with your pinions (Ps. 91:4); and uphold him with Your righteous right hand (Is. 41:10). Father, your Word says that whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Cause your servant, Mike Parson, to stay under Your shadow and to dwell in the safety of Your shelter. For you, Lord, are his refuge and fortress. You, God, are the One in whom he trusts. Extend this protection and safety to his family and hold them in your safekeeping. Father, let Mike be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving make his requests known to You. Give him Your wisdom in his considerations. Guide him in his daily decisions. Let him be a light in a dark place and let him stand up for You in the governorship and be a bold witness for You everywhere he goes. Fill him with your unfailing love. Give him a strong body and mind and keep him and his loved ones in health and vigor. Let him fulfill the mission You've given him, and run the good race set before him. And let not that race be cut short. In Jesus' mighty Name we pray. Amen.

God Almighty! Thank you for orchestrating Governor Parsons into office! I am thankful for his governance and for his heart. Cause blessing to abound to this man and his family. In Jesus' mighty name I pray! Amen

I am grateful, O God, that you provided a righteous man to lead this State during the tumult of these last several years. Bless Mike Parsons and his family profoundly!

Almighty God of heaven and earth, thank you for Governor Parsons, your man; for the abilities you have given him and the tent of influence he is having. Now Lord you have said the rich and poor are all alike in that the LORD made them all. So bless Gov Parsons and help him in the administration of his duties to be like the prophet Daniel. Help him set his face to do your will first and foremost and to be wise in the way he conducts himself and in the courts of legislation. Thank you Father for Mike Parsons. Strengthen him and raise up more godly men and women for these roles of leadeership. We all need wisdom today - your wisdom! Heavenly Father, may we fill our minds with your words, your wisdom. And help us apply it aright in our day and not compromise ourselves or your laws. In the mighty name of Jesus the Christ I pray. Amen

Dear Governor Parson,

I pray daily for " the Spirit of the Lord (to) rest upon you, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, of counsel and might, of knowledge and the fear of the Lord, and your delight shall be in the fear of the Lord. You shall not judge by what you see or hear but with righteousness shall you judge the poor and decide with equity for the meek . . . . ( Isa 11: 1-4). These verses which refer to our Savior and Lord are a wonderful mantle for leadership. We are desperate for the fear of the Lord in these troubling hours of our nation. May our Father have mercy and yet restore the fear, reverence, respect, awe of Him and His Eternal Truths.

Thank you father for bringing good, Godly men and women into leadership here in this country. I ask you to continue to bless Mike and enable Him to do your will united with the strength of other believers.
