Heavenly Father , I pray for Senator Tina Smith of Minnesota; That she would come to know you as her personal savior if she does not and that she would stand and vote for life, truth, and justice. I ask protection for her and her family as she serves in Washington in Jesus name, amen.

In the Bible God tells us to pray for our leaders -- I am praying God's best for you. Father, I pray for Tina Smith. Thank you for her service to our country. May she not serve for money or power but out of love for our country and our Constitution. I pray that during this shutdown, she would not desire to have us spend more money, but give her a desire to see us spend wisely. Draw her to yourself and give her a desire to seek you for wisdom. Give her a love for unborn children and a desire to protect them and their mothers. Protect her and her family.

Proverbs 9: 10(NASB)"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." Father, give Senator Smith wisdom and the fear of the Lord so that his state may prosper.

Lord God, the hour is critical and America stands at a tipping point. We need leaders who understand their own ability, wisdom and understanding is not nearly enough. We need leaders who willingly confess that which is wrong and stand for what is right before You. We need leaders who understand that they need to seek You for help, for wisdom, for discernment and guidance. Work in Senator Tina Smith's heart that she would seek You in her life and all her ways, endeavoring to co-partner with You in her life and in this important office and the tasks associated with it. I bring her before Your throne, praying this in Your name, Jesus, Amen

Lord, through her I ask may she be the godly leader You have chosen. May her heart yield to You, and through her grant those in this state and us in other states righteous victory where You alone are glorified. Be glorified or be quick to place one in her place for which YOUR will is done. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I pray, amen.

Lord, cause her thoughts and actions to become agreeable to Your will or give her office to another. In Jesus name Amen!
