Father, I thank You for Representative Norman's common sense bill to amend the U.S. Constitution to strip Congress of pay during a government shutdown. As he stated, " No one else in America would get paid for failing to fulfill their duties - Congress should face the same principle." I cannot help but think that this would serve to bring the shut down to a rapid and conclusive end. I also pray that Representative Norman use his circumstances for God's glory. I pray that he will seek and experience the Lord's presence in every situation. "When the righteous cry for help, the�Lord�hears?�and delivers them out of all their troubles.?" (Psalm 34:17-18)

I am rejoicing because of your decision to run as governor of SC. I am praying for the wisdom of god to flow through you in everything that you have to face. May you speak with boldness and stand firm against the attacks of the enemy and that the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth to help restore righteous back in our nation. Father, I pray for Ralph Norman. Thank you for his service to our country. May he seek you for wisdom. May he not serve for money or power but out of love for our country and our Constitution. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a walk with you through Jesus Christ, Creator, Redeemer. Protect him and his family.
