Maria Cantwell (D)

Father, I bring Senator Cantwell before You today. I pray that You will guide her and her committee (The Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee) as they consider nominees for the Federal Maritime Commission. Senator Cantwell holds very different views than I do and does not appear to hold Your values in high esteem. Please convict her where she needs conviction and help her to see the need for a savior. May she hear the gospel and repent of wrong-doing and embrace Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I concur and agree with these words and a previous prayer of Gary G, "I am deeply concerned about the direction that our beloved country is going", and I pray for your working in and around the lives of our Congresspersons and "leaders" of government. Father God, again this is a person I do not know how to pray for; I do not know this woman or her heart and soul condition, but PTL You do. I commit Senator Maria Cantwell to the working of Your Holy Spirit, for the outcome of her eternal soul and her life, that she might be redeemed and that she might make a positive impact on other lives she encounters. Lord, draw her unto yourself and Your purpose for her life. Open her heart and her mind to a real and true relationship with Jesus. Oh Lord, In the Name and by the power of Jesus Christ and the Spirit he gives us, we pray for this woman that You would do a work in her life, in her heart that she might see Your Will and discern your direction for her life and her purpose and mission in Government . May she open her heart and mind to see You and Your guidance and not be prey to the whims and weaknesses of society, of false, harmful, misdirected ideologies and evil influences. Lord draw her out of the strongly progressive and liberal ideologies of her state. Thank you O' God for hearing our pleas and for Your blessing over America; do not withdraw it, but sweep the nation with Your Spirit for awakening and renewal.

Dear Lord, please help Maria to accomplish Your will as she leads in the senate for Washington. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, You know Maria and her needs, please guide her and counsel her according to Your ways!

Lord God, I pray that Your Word, spoken by Christian prayer warriors, into the life of Maria Cantwell has taken deep root. We pray she has been convicted to see herself as You see her, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27) for Your plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10) at a time such as this (Esther). We pray that Senator Cantwell is convicted of John 3:16, that "...God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not parish but have everlasting life," and that "...The fear of the Lord - that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding," (Job 28:28). We pray she be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24), and that she is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as she represents Washington in the United States Senate.
