Duane Davidson (D)

Father, I pray for Treasurer Davidson to become familiar with Your word following the advice given by the Apostle Paul to Timothy: "Think over what I say for the Lord will give you understanding in everything" (2 Timothy 2:7). Please provide the understanding that Treasurer Davidson needs to best serve the interests of the citizens of Washington state. Amen.

Father, I pray that Treasurer Davidson may correct his opponents with gentleness. So that God may perhaps grant both Treasurer Davidson and his opponent repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth (2 Timothy 2:25). May they both come to trust Jesus as their Savior.

Father, I pray that Your Word would be a lamp to Treasurer Davidson's feet and a light to his path. May he seek You for wisdom first. (Psalm 119:105). May he come to know Jesus as his Savior.

Father, I pray that Treasurer Davidson will read the Bible and study it to know more about You so that grace and peace will be multiplied to him. (2 Peter 1:2). May he come to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. May he choose to follow Him.

Father, In the Precious name of Jesus, Lamb of God so precious. I stand forth in prayer for this servant of the people. Father protect from every lie, trick and deciet of the enemy. Cover family, loved ones, staff, and their families with the wings of the Almighty God. Defend their health, persons, and properties. Keep them in safe. Make straight their paths. Give to your servant the Wisdom of Soloman and the heart of David. May the prayers of your people remove the obstacles in their paths. Light their way in darkness. Bring clear understanding of true purposes in what comes before them. May their constituents prosper in the times ahead. Make clear the path of righteousness, and the true balance of justice in all things. Amen

Father, please give Duane Davidson wisdom and discernment as he serves as Treasurer, always walking in integrity, honesty and transparency in all ways. May he strive to make himself accountable for each decision that he makes on behalf of the State in which he serves, putting the needs of the people first. May he respect and uphold the Constitution. Give him courage and boldness to seek truth and clarity in all matters, and may he not be swayed by the opinion of others. Strengthen and encourage him as he puts You first. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
