Father, I pray for William Timmons. Thank you for his service to you and to Michigan. Give him your wisdom and your love of the truth. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a desire for life with you through Jesus Christ, Creator and Redeemer. May he see himself as you see him and repent for sin in his life. May he serve out of a love of our country. Protect him and his family.

Lord Jesus, government is placed on Your shoulders and You know full well the rigors of just and righteous governing. Please help, guide and instruct Mike Steele, Washington Representative in all his ways as he performs the duties at hand in his elected office. May he pursue real truth with passion and not depart from it. Lord, may he be a "man after Your own heart" in his state of Washington. Keep his eyes and heart from deceit and manipulation. May he operate in ultimate allegiance to You and compassionate service to those he represents in office. Grant him strength, courage and protection as he walks in the light of Your truth. Amen
