Chris Van Hollen (D)

Father, I pray for Chris Van Hollen. Thank you for his service to our country. May he not serve for money or power but out of love for out country and our constitution. Give him a love for unborn children and a desire to protect them and pregnancy resource centers that help babies and their families. May he see babies as fully human and needing our protection. Move in his heart to seek you for wisdom and life in Jesus.

I pray for your soul. You are practicing evil against American people. Repent of this evil and work for the people who elected you and not for criminals.

Lord, long ago, Your instruction to Your children was to "select capable men from all the people--men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain--and appoint them as officials". (Ex 18:21) I pray that Maryland Senator, Chris VanHollen, will be such a man so that You can bless Maryland through him.

Proverbs 9: 10(NASB)"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." Father, give Senator van Hollen wisdom and the fear of the Lord so that his state may prosper.

Heavenly father, I pray for Senator Chris Nan Hollen of Maryland . These are times that test man's soul, and as a Democrat in the Senate, I pray he will stand strong and courageous in these times of turmoil. If he does not know, Jesus, I pray that he will accept Jesus as his personal savior. I pray protection for him and his family. Amen.

Oh Lord, our governor, your glory shines throughout the world. We commend our nation to your merciful care, that we may live securely in peace and may be guided by your providence. Give all in authority the wisdom and strength to know your will and do it. Help them remember that they are called to serve people as lovers of truth and justice. In Jesus name, Amen.
