Todd Young (R)

Father, I pray for Senator Todd Young. Thank you for his service to you and to our country. May he not serve for money or power but as serving you. May he seek you for wisdom so that he will make wise decisions. May he stand for biblical values and work to see them implemented. May he walk in you as he follows Jesus Christ, Savior and Creator.

I lift pray with thanksgiving for Senator Todd Young. I pray for a revelation of Your Word of Truth and Your values into the heart/spirit of Senator Young. Enable him to see himself as You see him (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10), to humble himself before You (Isaiah 66:2), repent of his sins, transgressions and iniquities (Psalm 51:17; John 8:3-11), and seek Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of anyone he has sinned against (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11:25). If he does not know You as his Savior, we pray he would have a saving encounter with You (Ephesians 1: 17-23). We pray that Senator Young be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he serves the people of Indiana and fulfills his duties and responsibilities in the Senate. Heavenly Father, we Pray Senator Todd Young is convicted that he is created in Your image; woven together in the womb of his mother by Your hands, from conception to birth, for Your purpose and Your plan (Psalm 139:13-16) at this time in history. Lord God, we pray he be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and to demand of himself honesty, integrity, and loyalty (Psalm 26, Proverbs 11:3), righteousness and justice (Proverbs 21:15). We pray he is convicted to measure every thought, word, decision and action against Your precepts (Psalm 111:10). We pray Mr. Young sees our constitution as our founding fathers intended. May he be convicted that America was discovered, explored, settled and founded as Your city on a hill (Matthew 5:14) for the purpose of sending Your message of Salvation to every person, place, tribe and nation under heaven (Rev. 14:6). We pray that he is convicted that he must be "prepared to give an account to Almighty God" (Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:12). In Jesus name, Amen

Daniel 2: 20-21(NAS )"Daniel said, 'Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to Him. It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding.' " May you be strengthened daily by God's joy. May you experience His Sabbath rest as needed, and may you hear His voice clearly as He gives you the wisdom needed to serve your constituents, in Jesus' name, amen. Nehemiah 8: 10

Father, In the Precious name of Jesus, Lamb of God so precious. I stand forth in prayer for this servant of the people. Father protect from every lie, trick and deciet of the enemy. Cover family, loved ones, staff, and their families with the wings of the Almighty God. Defend their health, persons, and properties. Keep them safe. Make straight their paths. Give to your servant the Wisdom of Soloman and the heart of David. May the prayers of your people remove the obstacles in their paths. Light their way in darkness. Bring clear understanding of true purposes in that which comes before them. May their constituents prosper in the times ahead. Make clear the path of righteousness, and the true balance of justice in all things they do. Amen

Thank You, Father, for Senator Young and his strong family values and desire to see life valued and children protected. Encourage him as he continues to stand for life and family values, as well as the other priorities he holds dear and lends support. As a former military man serving in two branches of the US military, he supports veterans and families of military. Continue to guide Him as he serves those who have so selflessly served our nation and fought for our freedom. May his stand for security of our nation be a strength for others to stand with him as he serves to secure our borders and works to build up the integrity of our military, ensuring they are equipped to protect and serve. Give him wisdom and discernment so that he will walk in Your ways and adhere to Your word in all he does. Bless him, O Lord, I pray. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
