Dear Father in Heaven, I thank you for raising up Raja Krishnamoorthi to serve the people of Illinois. I pray that You would draw him to You, that You'd bring the full weight of Your Holy Spirit's influence on him, and that You'd soften his heart and insulate him from the deceptions of the enemy of our souls, that he might have an authentic opportunity to consider the claims of Christ and your incredible love for him. Finally, I pray the fulfillment of Proverb 21:1, "The heart of the [political leader] is like channels of water in the hands of the Lord; He turns it wherever He wishes," and I ask, Lord, in the matchless Name of Jesus, that You'd turn his heart to righteousness.

Father, I pray for Raja Krishnamoorthi. May he walk with you in salvation, seeking you in everything, giving glory to you in his life and deeds. May he put aside what does not please you. Protect him and his family.
