Clay Higgins (R)

Dear Lord, I do not know this man or anything about him, but PTL you do, so I implore that Your Holy Spirit will be working in and around his life and circumstances. I pray that he might be a man of faith who will seek your wisdom, guidance and leadership; that he will seek you for his strength and sustenance for the choices he makes, the decisions and words that he shares as a representative of the people of Louisiana and America. Surround him with people of strong principles and truth for their working platform and their agenda for the citizens of their state and the entire USA. May he be a man of strong principles and values for conservatism, for Constitutional Rule of Law. "For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict." (Luke 21:15) Thank you, O' Lord for hearing our pleas and may Your Holy Spirit be at work cleansing our land and our government. May Your people be strong and bold, standing up for truth and goodness for all and striving to honor you in all they do. Thank you Oh God for hearing our pleas, our petitions for our representatives. Do a powerful work in the halls of Congress that there would be more calling on your name and your wisdom. Please continue granting your Grace to America and effect a change of spirit, of attitude and direction.

Father God, I lift up Clay Higgins to you today and thank you for him and his service and faith. I ask that you put a hedge of protection around he and his family, and that you continue to lead him by Your Holy Spirit. I thank you for his boldness and ask that you give him favor, both with his constitutes and his fellow members. Make him a Daniel in the courts, and a Joseph in Pharoah's palace. Father, increase his wisdom and favor. Thank you that his warrior spirit comes from your throne room; this makes him a target, so I ask you to surround him with your mighty angels, that do war in the heavenlies. Let them and your Holy Spirit go before him so that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. I ask that you bless him, and that he in turn will bless you, that you encourage his heart, and give him counsel, that you will instruct him in the night seasons. I plead the blood of Jesus over him and his family and ask these things in the MIGHTY name of Yeshua. Amen

Lord God, I pray that Your Word, spoken by Christian prayer warriors, into the life of Clay Higgins has taken deep root. We pray he has been convicted to see himself as You see him, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27) for Your plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10) at this time in history. We pray that Representative Higgins is convicted of John 3:16, that "...God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not parish but have everlasting life," and that "...The fear of the Lord - that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding," (Job 28:28). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24), and that he is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he represents Louisiana in the House of Representatives. In Jesus name, Amen.

Gracious Heavenly Father, may Rep. Higgins know that it is Your hand and Your sovereign purpose that is keeping him and sustaining him in his divine commission. (Ps 38:12-15) Keep him, and those who serve him, safe from the enemy's snares and free from the accuser's traps. (Ps 141:9-10) By Your great hand, Lord, deal with those who oppose righteousness and justice so that all will know it is You alone who is sovereign and true. (Ps 64:6-9) I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight, and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. In the Name above all names Jesus our Messiah. Amen.

God bless, protect, have mercy, and heal Clay and his family. May he seek your wisdom, directions, intelligence, as he does his job. May God reveal truth to him. Especially of our government and give him the plans of the evil people. May God strengthen him in his inner being, and make him strong, as a roaring lion. May God's angels protect him and go with him daily. In Jesus's name Amen
