Bobby Scott (D)

Father, please bless Representative Scott for his concern for the safety and welfare of our nation. May he walk circumspectly, discerning truth with wisdom that comes from above. May he trust in You with all his heart and lean not to his own understanding, but in all his ways may he acknowledge You, Lord, and you will direct his paths. May he walk in unity with the current administration, finding common ground and not finding fault. May he walk in integrity and with justice, and may he always do what is right, even if it goes against the grain. May he defend our Constitution, support Israel, and protect the vulnerable. Keep him safe in Your arms, Lord. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Father, we lift up Bobby Scott before you. Open his eyes and guide him on all issues that are important for our country. The heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord. We trust in you and that his decisions will be guided by you. In Jesus Name.

Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus, I lift up Representative Bobby Scott and I pray that You would surround him with Godly counsel. I pray that he would have an encounter with the Love of God and have a revelation of Your Goodness, that he would be fully born-again and living out righteousness in his capacity as Representative here in Virginia.

Heavenly Father, we Pray Representative Bobby Scott is convicted that he is created in Your image; woven together in the womb of his mother by Your hands, from conception to birth, for Your purpose and Your plan (Psalm 139:13-16) at this time in history. Lord God, we pray he be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and to demand of himself honesty, integrity, and loyalty (Psalm 26, Proverbs 11:3), righteousness and justice (Proverbs 21:15). We pray he is convicted to measure every thought, word, decision and action against Your precepts (Psalm 111:10). We pray Mr. Scott sees our constitution as our founding fathers intended. May he be convicted that America was discovered, explored, settled and founded as Your city on a hill (Matthew 5:14) for the purpose of sending Your message of Salvation to every person, place, tribe and nation under heaven (Rev. 14:6). We pray that he is convicted that he must be "prepared to give an account to Almighty God" (Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:12). In Jesus name, Amen

Lord God, I pray that Your Word, spoken by Christian prayer warriors, into the life of Bobby Scott has taken deep root. We pray he has been convicted to see himself as You see him, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27) for Your plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10). We pray that Representative Scott is convicted of John 3:16, "...God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not parish but have everlasting life," and that "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts have good understanding," (Psalm 111:10) We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24), and that he is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (James 1:5) and Your will as he represents the state of Virginia and the United States of America.
