Dustin Miller (D)

Dustin, so few understand that we can be used to connect to Heaven and Earth. And yet, how else could we possibly steward or manage the Earth for You, if not by releasing Heaven's will and ways into it. Our King Jesus told us to pray, "Thy Kingdom come! Thy will be done, on Earth as in Heaven!" Father God I ask you to release your spirit upon Dustin that he might open his heart to receive your love and words of Hope. God gives us Faith to believe and hold close His words of love. Hebrews -10:23 Gods words say to us- "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Reach out and take Gods hands to lead you. I ask in Jesus that His will be done. God loves you! ??????

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Representative Dustin Miller. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christians who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Miller to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Dustin Miller is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.

Father God, I pray that You will place in the heart and mind of Representative Dustin Miller to be a 'seeker'--a seeker of Truth, a seeker of righteousness, a seeker of wisdom and discernment, a seeker of peace and of justice. All things worth wholeheartedly seeking are found in You and so in seeking, I pray that Mr. Miller would find the beauty, the guidance, provision and protection that are a part of who You are and that are poured out from Your hands to those who seek You. Even as Representative Miller 'sought' political office, I pray he would use this office that You have allowed him to occupy to seek and administer mercy and justice and help for his constituency. I pray that You will work in him a 'godly leader'. I pray Your guiding and guarding hand over Representative Miller, his household, his office and his daily work. May this be done by the authority and power of the unmatched name of Jesus, Amen!

Gracious Heavenly Father, may Rep. Miller know that it is Your hand and Your sovereign purpose that is keeping him and sustaining him in his divine commission. (Ps 38:12-15) Keep him, and those who serve him, safe from the enemy's snares and free from the accuser's traps. (Ps 141:9-10) By Your great hand, Lord, deal with those who oppose righteousness and justice so that all will know it is You alone who is sovereign and true. (Ps 64:6-9) I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. In the Name above all names Jesus our Messiah. Amen.

May the Lord guide you and use you for His eternal purposes. Following His lead is the most efficient and effective and honorable way to lead. May the God of all comfort prosper you when you follow and chasten you when you do not. Thank you for your service.
