Father God, I lift up this fine servant of his constituents, those people whom trust him to perform his duties before the public in service to them. Oh God, mighty and everlasting make straight the paths before him. Give wisdom and clear sight of all intents set before him in legislation, personal decisions and public policies. May his balance of justice be served by a true and fair balance. May the poor be given career work to care for their families. May the businesses in his district prosper. May their profits spread in works of pubic good. May the burden on the governments so be reduced. Bless the the people he serves with health, strength, and compassion. Empower their ability to help those in need. May every one in his district be blessed in the doing of righteous deeds. May their baskets overflow with blessings. Amen

Father, please guide Representative Mangold as he strives to serve the people of the State of Mississippi. I pray first and foremost that he knows You and the hope to which You have called him. You placed him in this position of service, so please guide him in the way in which he is to go. May he not lean on his own understanding, rather may he put his trust in You. Grant him wisdom and discernment, boldness and courage to stand up and speak up, even when it is not a popular thing to do. Give him great moral character, and may he defend the Constitution and represent his State and nation well. Give him a kind, compassionate heart for the sanctity of human life and for protecting the innocence of children. May he be a strong supporter of parents' right to protect their children and defend their education and safety in school. Give him wisdom as to how he can protect all life, especially the young. May he work to make our schools strong and secure, not a place of terror and perversity. Dear Father, guide him and bless him, I ask in Jesus' Name. Amen.
