Dear Father, Thank you for placing Bill Cassidy in political office. I pray that you would grant him the wisdom necessary to make good decisions and the integrity to make those decisions well. I pray you'd protect him and his family from the attacks of the evil one, and that in the matchless Name of Jesus, you'd draw their hearts to you.

Lord God Alighty, look down upon this man who has chosen to serve in the body known as politics. I lift him before you this late night hour in prayer for protection, health, and safety at home, on travel and when with legislatures. As the Apostle Paul prayed, so to do I, that the eyes of his understanding be opened to see the hope of and in his calling to serve his state. Grant him the understanding of the men of Issachar who had understanding of the times, and knew what their nation Israel ought to do. Guard his reputation each and every day, that no wrongful purpose be concealed from him, and he has clear sight of the right path and correct answer. Bless his staff, family, those he loves, and those he serves with safety, health, and divine protection. Guard his decisions from those who would deceive to harm his reputation. In Jesus Holy Name Amen, Amen.

Dearest LORD, thank You for Senator Cassidy's uncompromising love for Your statutes which he reflects in his position with Congress. He is a man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly nor sits in the seat of the scornful, but his delight is in the delight of the LORD. He and his wife have forged the path of righteousness as physicians who respect and protect life and the welfare of others. Bless his determination to see the border secure, the security of our nation and its people as essential. May he continue to stand for the welfare and support of our active military as well as the welfare of our precious veterans. Continue to give him Your wisdom and discernment and a strong and bold voice or justice, integrity, and honor. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
