Heavenly Father, we Pray Representative Brian Babin is convicted that he is created in Your image; woven together in the womb of his mother by Your hands, from conception to birth, for Your purpose and Your plan (Psalm 139:13-16) at this time in history. Lord God, we pray he be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and to demand of himself honesty, integrity, and loyalty (Psalm 26, Proverbs 11:3), righteousness and justice (Proverbs 21:15). We pray he is convicted to measure every thought, word, decision and action against Your precepts (Psalm 111:10). We pray Mr. Babin sees our constitution as our founding fathers intended. May he be convicted that America was discovered, explored, settled and founded as Your city on a hill (Matthew 5:14) for the purpose of sending Your message of Salvation to every person, place, tribe and nation under heaven (Rev. 14:6). We pray that he is convicted that he must be "prepared to give an account to Almighty God" (Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:12). In Jesus name, Amen

Father, I pray for Representative Brian Babin. Thank you for his service to our country. May he look to you for wisdom, realizing that he has none of his own. I pray the fear of the Lord would be his motivation and he would not look to the idols of riches or fame or power. May he love you above all else and live his life for you.

Lord, America (and the states that comprise her) needs strong, courageous, discerning and godly leaders. We pray that Representative Brian Babin would be such a leader for such a time as this. Lord, we pray that You alone would guide his steps and guard his heart in all matters. We pray that he would hunger and thirst for and pursue righteousness that comes from no other source than You and the unchanging truth of Your Word. Place a hedge of protection around Mr. Babin and all that is associated with him as he endeavors to honor You and serve well the people of Texas. It is in the authority and power of the name of Jesus that we pray. Amen

Gracious Heavenly Father, may Rep. Babin know that it is Your hand and Your sovereign purpose that is keeping him and sustaining him in his divine commission. (Ps 38:12-15) Keep him, and those who serve him, safe from the enemy's snares and free from the accuser's traps. (Ps 141:9-10) By Your great hand, Lord, deal with those who oppose righteousness and justice so that all will know it is You alone who is sovereign and true. (Ps 64:6-9) I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. In the Name above all names Jesus our Messiah. Amen.

Father God, I do not know this person and I do not truly know how to pray for him; I do not know his heart and soul condition, but PTL You do. I commit Representative Brian Babin to the working of Your Holy Spirit, for the outcome of his eternal soul and his life, that he might be redeemed and that he might make a positive impact on other lives he encounters. Lord, draw him unto yourself and Your purpose for his life. I am not sure if he is a true conservative; I hope that he is Pro-America, Pro-religion/Judeo-Christian ideals and Pro-Constitutionalism. I pray God give him understanding and discernment and grant him real wisdom. Oh Lord, In the Name and by the power of Jesus Christ and the Spirit he gives us, we pray for this man that You would do a work in his life, in his heart that he might see Your Will and discern your direction for his life and his purpose and mission in Government and as a legislator. May he open his heart and mind to see You and Your guidance and not be prey to the whims and weaknesses of society, of harmful, misdirected ideologies and evil influences. I pray that he will be a strong influence for Truth, for America and patriotism as guided by our Constitutional foundation. Thank you o' God for hearing our pleas and petitions for he heart and soul of our nation, our people, for Your blessing over America; do not withdraw your favor and sustainment, but sweep the nation and the halls of our governmental offices with the power of Your Spirit.

Almighty God and Savior, thank you for choosing Brian to lead over those you have given him. Grant him your wisdom in every decision. In Jesus's name Amen
