Lord, I lift Rhode Island Senator, Jack Reed, before You in prayer. I pray that he would seek divine wisdom with a heart willing to receive and heed that wisdom. I pray that he would seek discernment from You, that he could decipher the righteous, upright and God-blessed direction in issues and situations. Lead him, Lord, and may he be a willing Christ-follower, for we need such persons in positions of leadership in our nation and he needs Your leadership in his life, as does each of us. Thank You, Lord, for hearing this prayer.

Heavenly Father, we Pray Senator Jack Reed is convicted that he is created in Your image; woven together in the womb of his mother by Your hands, from conception to birth, for Your purpose and Your plan (Psalm 139:13-16) at this time in history. Lord God, we pray he be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and to demand of himself honesty, integrity, and loyalty (Psalm 26, Proverbs 11:3), righteousness and justice (Proverbs 21:15). We pray he is convicted to measure every thought, word, decision and action against Your precepts (Psalm 111:10). We pray Mr. Reed sees our constitution as our founding fathers intended. May he be convicted that America was discovered, explored, settled and founded as Your city on a hill (Matthew 5:14) for the purpose of sending Your message of Salvation to every person, place, tribe and nation under heaven (Rev. 14:6). We pray that he is convicted that he must be "prepared to give an account to Almighty God" (Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:12). In Jesus name, Amen
