Jack Reed (D)

We pray for prodigals and others who do not know You, that the revelation of Christ and His provision would be made real to them. We bind every belief system and thought pattern that blinds them to truth and deceives them. We release Holy Spirit's power to overcome the root of pride in them, that which entered the human race at the fall. Cause them to bow their knee to Christ and His Lordship. We also ask that Holy Spirit's power be released to their minds and hearts, drawing them to You. Send the right people to them, and separate them from those who are being used to influence them wrongly. We ask You for these things in Jesus' name, and we thank You for the answer. Amen.

Father God I pray for the Spirit of the Holy Ghost speaks to Senator Jack Reed Heart. Turn him to the Bible to hold him fast in his decisions of recognizing The Truth. As he supports the people in his district. Guide and direct him as prayers reach out to him to understand the plan God has for him.

Lord God, I pray that Your Word, spoken by Christian prayer warriors, into the life of Senator Jack Reed, has taken deep root. I pray he has been convicted to see himself as You see him, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27) for Your plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10). I pray that Jack Reed is convicted of John 3:16, "...God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not parish but have everlasting life," and that "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts have good understanding," (Psalm 111:10) I pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24), and that he is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (James 1:5) and Your will as he represents the Rhode Island and the USA. In Jesus name, Amen.

Daniel 2: 20-21(NAS )"Daniel said, 'Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to Him. It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding.' " May you be strengthened daily by God's joy. May you experience His Sabbath rest as needed, and may you hear His voice clearly as He gives you the wisdom needed to serve your constituents, in Jesus' name, amen. Nehemiah 8: 10

Father, in Jesus name, let Jack know Your goodness in his life. Let him know Your wisdom, and give him Godly counselors as he serves in the Senate. Keep his mind from this world's influence, and let his thoughts be directed by You. Strengthen his body as he serves the people of the United States. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I lift up Senator Jack Reed to you and ask that if he does not know you that he would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel message. Help him to accept wise counsel. Teach him to trust in you and protect him from the influence of the evil one. The people of Rhode Island are counting on him to make the best decisions for them. Give him discretion, foresight and understanding in making decisions and deliver him from opinions contrary to Your Word. Put a hedge of protection about Jack and his family. Help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. In Jesus name, Amen.
