Father, thank You for the service of Representative McGovern on behalf of the state of Massachusetts. He supported Congressman French Hill of Arkansas' introduction of a bipartisan resolution to recognize to advance international religious freedom and recommend that nations identified as severely violating religious freedom be added to the State Department's list. Representative McGovern obviously recognizes the importance of the United States to further the cause of religious freedom around the world. I pray that he will find Jesus present in his Catholic faith and chose to follow Him as Savior. I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

May he not serve for money or power but out of love for our country and our Constitution. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a life with you through Jesus Christ, Redeemer.
