Father God, it is no small thing to have and rightly handle the massive responsibility of the office of State Representative. May true realization of this bring California Representative Mark Takano to his knees before You seeking truth, wisdom and discernment, for in seeking he will find. And in finding You and receiving from Your hand, he will have what is needed to be a leader God blesses and through which the people are blessed. May it be so, Lord. Amen

Lord I offer now this prayer, this petition on behalf of Mark Takano and Your people who are called by Your name in California, and for those to come who shall be called by Your name that through Mr Takano You may be exalted and in thought, word and deed he may bring the light of Truth through his service. Guide and direct his life, as water being poured from Your hand. Be glorified in all he says, does and supports that those there and we elsewhere may lead peaceful and quiet lives, godly and dignified in every way for we know this pleases You our God and Savior for it is by Biblical government the Gospel is spread openly and in all boldness that many may be saved and come to the knowledge of the Truth. I thank You knowing the Nations You have given as an inheritance to Christ our Savior and the Son in whom You were well pleased. It is in His name I pray, amen.

Lord God, the intercessors of our nation raise the health, safety, and needs of this public servant before you in prayer. Grant unto him the wisdom as Soloman had in political and personal things. We pray that the eyes of his understanding be enlightened that he know the hope of your calling. May he be as the men of Issacar that had understanding of the times and knew what their nation ought to do. Give true insight into the future effects of each issue brought before him. Light his pathway with truth and provide him a just balance in all things represented to him. Guard and protect him, those he loves and those he serves. Amen and Amen.

Father, I bring Representative Takano before Your throne of grace and ask that You would bless and encourage him, and may he come to know You as Savior and Lord. Open his eyes to the truth of Your word, and give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness. I pray that he would know You and the hope to which he has been called. May Your word be a lamp unto his feet and a light unto his feet. May he defend our Constitution and be a friend to Israel. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Father, I pray for Representative Mark Takano. Thank you for his service to you and to our country. May he seek you for wisdom. May he not serve for power or money, but in humility, because of a love for country, our freedoms and the Constitution. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and repentance for sin in his life. Draw him to you so he will seek life in Jesus's name.
