Mike Turner (R)

Father, I pray for Representative Mike Turner. Thank you for his service to our country. May he look to you for wisdom and may he walk in integrity. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and the knowledge that only you can fill his hunger and thirst. May he not bend to the gods of money and power, but let you rule his life.

Lord God, I pray that Your Word, spoken by Christian prayer warriors, into the life of Mike Turner has taken deep root. We pray he has been convicted to see himself as You see him, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27) for Your plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10) at this time in history. We pray that Representative Turner is convicted of John 3:16, that "...God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not parish but have everlasting life," and that "...The fear of the Lord - that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding," (Job 28:28). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24), and that he is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he represents Ohio in the House of Representatives. In Jesus name, Amen.

Most gracious and holy Lord, I give you praise this morning for Who You are and for Your works in our lives. I thank You for Mike Turner as a Representative of the people at this time. Father, lead him in a deeper knowledge and understanding of Your will and Your ways for they are much higher than ours. Jesus You are the Truth and the Life and all access to the Father is through Your finished work so I trust You to lead Mike Turner with Your eye upon him.

God, Please help these leaders and all those in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all Godliness and honesty!

Lord, I pray for Mike Turner to have a reverential fear of You and to always put You first in the important decisions that he makes for this Country! In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Father God, I lift up Representative Mike Turner to you. I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray from Proverbs 4:23 - Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life, and the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. In Jesus name, Amen.
