Angus King (I)

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Senator Angus King. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christian disciples who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. King to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Angus King is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.

Dear Senator King- Thank you for serving! I am praying for you from James 1:22-24: 22 "But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not just hearers who deceive themselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; 24 for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was. person he was." Father, thank You for calling us to do more than hear Your word! You have called & equipped us to be able to do Your will! You enable us to practice what we are to do first by studying & meditating on Your word to gain understanding, & then obeying Your word by doing what it says. We desire the works of our faith to bear the good fruits of the Spirit, & not to be self-deceiving, fruitless works that bear the emptiness of vanity. Help Your word to become such a deep part of who we are that we would be quick to hear & obey. In Jesus' name we pray, amen. Blessings, Brenda Schaefer

Lord Jesus, Heavenly Father, I lift up the honorable Senator King to you and ask that you bless him for the sacrifice he makes in serving the citizens of Maine and the nation as a whole. Protect him from physical and spiritual harm. Grant him courage, wisdom, discernment, knowledge and understanding that each decision he is tasked to make would align with your heart and glorify your Son. Remind him each day of the oath he swore to uphold when he was sworn into office. Grant him eyes opened wide. I ask these things in Jesus holy name and for the glory of Jesus may it be so.

Heavenly Father, I pray for the blessings of God to rest upon Gov Angus King and give protection to him and his family. This I pray in the Name of Jesus Christ our Savior, Amen!
