Father God, I pray now for Chris Murphy. Lord I pray for Your blessing on his life. I pray that You give him discernment for Your truth. Father I pray that You will make Your will known in very action and decision he makes. In Jesus name, Amen

Lord God, the intercessors of our nation raise the health, safety, and needs of this public servant before you in prayer. Grant unto him the wisdom as Soloman had in political and personal things. We pray that the eyes of his understanding be enlightened that he know the hope of your calling. May he be as the men of Issacar that had understanding of the times and knew what their nation ought to do. Give true insight into the future effects of every issue brought before him. Light his pathway in truth and provide him a just balance of the truth in all things represented to him. Guard and protect him, those he loves and those he serves. Amen and Amen.

Father God, I bring Senator Murphy before Your throne of grace, asking for Your blessings over him and his family. Please continue to guide him in decisions regarding immigration and border control, the right to bear arms, standing strong for our Constitution, insuring that our country reestablish a moral code. Open his eyes to see and understand the value of all life, and may he stand for the sanctity of human life from birth to death. Please give him wisdom in dealing with reforms and legislation that are based on fact and not on the opinion of another. May he search out the truth of every issue, not giving into the blame game, rather standing up for truth and integrity. Thank you for his desire to work for the people of Connecticut and insure that their voices, as well as those across the United States are heard. In Jesus' Name. Amen

We lift our voices in prayer and thanksgiving for Senator Chris Murphy. We pray for a revelation of Your Word of Truth and Your values into the heart/spirit of Chris Murphy. Enable him to see himself as You see him (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10), to humble himself before You (Isaiah 66:2), repent of his sins, transgressions and iniquities (Psalm 51:17; John 8:3-11), and seek Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of anyone he has sinned against (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11:25). If he does not know You as his Savior, we pray he would have a saving encounter with You (Ephesians 1: 17-23). We pray that Senator Murphy be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he serves the people of Connecticut and fulfills his duties and responsibilities in the United States Senate. Lord I pray that this man and others like him in our congress will come to know the living Savior Jesus. That He will move in their hearts and minds to change the way they govern in a way that is honoring to You and Your will for this nation in Jesus name Amen

Dear Abba Father. I pray for Senator Murphy to have a close relationship with you, Lord. I pray that you bring Word filled Christians alongside him to facilitate salvation for his soul. Encourage him, show him to belong to a Bible believing church. If he is unable to hear you Lord or refuses to accept salvation keep bringing people into his life to help him to repair his seared conscience and if necessary remove him from office and replace him with a righteous leader. I ask this in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you Lord for hearing and answering this prayer Lord. Amen.
