Karl Allen (D)

Father God, I love You and praise You for Your mercy and grace. Thank You also for being so patient with us. We are an arrogant stiff-necked people. But You love us still. Father I come boldly before Your throne as You have given me the right to do through Your Son Jesus. I bring my prayers and concerns for Representative Allen before You. Does he know You? Has he taken an honest look at his life and why he is in need of a Savior? As we all are in need of a Savior. We have fallen short and on our own merit God measures and we have fallen short. Our only saving grace is Father God's compassion towards us and his act of redeeming us through the sacrificial Blood of the Lamb Jesus Christ. Father, I pray Representative Allen knows this, has voluntarily bowed his knee to You, has repented from his own ways and has chosen to follow You. Guide him. Lead him. Give him wisdom, courage, stamina, protection. I pray this in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Senator Karl Allen. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christians who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Allen to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Karl Allen is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.
