We lift our voices in prayer and thanksgiving for AG Alan Wilson. We pray for a revelation of Your Word of Truth and Your values into the heart/spirit of Mr. Wilson. Enable him to see himself as You see him (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10), to humble himself before You (Isaiah 66:2), repent of his sins, transgressions and iniquities (Psalm 51:17; John 8:3-9), and seek Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of anyone he has sinned against (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11:25). If he does not know You as his savior, we pray he would have a saving encounter with You (Ephesians 1: 17-23). We pray that Alan Wilson be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (James 1:5) and Your will as he serves the people of South Carolina . In Jesus name, Amen

Father, I lift up South Carolina's Attorney General, Alan Wilson. Thank you for his service to South Carolina. Touch his heart and draw him close to you. May he humble himself before you and seek your wisdom, knowing he has none apart from you. May he not serve from hopes of money or popularity, but in humility and honesty, standing on your justice and righteousness. Protect him and his family from the work of the enemy, physically and spirituallly.

Heavenly Father, we Pray Attorney General Alan Wilson is convicted that he is created in Your image; woven together in the womb of his mother by Your hands, from conception to birth, for Your purpose and Your plan (Psalm 139:13-16) at this time in history. Lord God, we pray he be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding (James 1:5) and to demand of himself honesty, integrity, and loyalty (Psalm 26, Proverbs 11:3), righteousness and justice (Proverbs 21:15). We pray he is convicted to measure every thought, word, decision and action against Your precepts (Psalm 111:10). We pray Mr. Wilson sees our constitution as our founding fathers intended. May he be convicted that America is discovered, explored, settled and founded as Your city on a hill (Matthew 5:14) for the purpose of sending Your message of Salvation to every person, place, tribe and nation under heaven. We pray that he is convicted that he must be "prepared to give an account to Almighty God" (Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:12). In Jesus name, Amen

Father God, You sacrificed greatly to draw any and every willing person close to You and to surround each one who draws near with Your great love, mercy and grace. Your heart is broken when any chooses a different path than the one You have laid out because any other path does not lead to help, hope or life. So, Lord, we pray that You would break Attorney General Alan Wilson's heart with the things that break Your heart. (We pray this for ourselves as well) We pray that this would give great prompting for Mr. Wilson to pursue paths of righteousness. We pray then that it would be Your righteousness that guides his thoughts, plans, decisions and actions. In this will he, his family, his office and his constituents be blessed. It is by the authority of Jesus' name we pray this. Amen

Gracious Heavenly Father, may Mr. Wilson know that it is Your hand and Your sovereign purpose that is keeping him and sustaining him in his divine commission. (Ps 38:12-15) Keep him, and those who serve him, safe from the enemy's snares and free from the accuser's traps. (Ps 141:9-10) By Your great hand, Lord, deal with those who oppose righteousness and justice so that all will know it is You alone who is sovereign and true. (Ps 64:6-9) I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. In the Name above all names Jesus our Messiah. Amen.
