Christ in you the hope of glory. Greater is HE in you than he who is not the world. May His presence in with you pouring out wisdom and understanding council and might knowledge and fear of the Lord.

Lord God Almighty, I lift Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal before you. Move and work in his mind and in his heart as only You can, resulting in his true and continual pursuit of Your plans and purposes, Your will and direction, Your path of righteousness. I pray that his heart will be moved by the things that move Your heart, Lord. Bless and prosper any and all of Mr. Blumenthal's words, plans, decisions and actions that are birthed by Your truth and Spirit. Cover him with grace and mercy, courage and protection, strength and power as he seeks to be Your man in office. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen

Gracious Heavenly Father, may Sen. Blumenthal know that it is Your hand and Your sovereign purpose that is keeping him and sustaining him in his divine commission. (Ps 38:12-15) Keep him, and those who serve him, safe from the enemy's snares and free from the accuser's traps. (Ps 141:9-10) By Your great hand, Lord, deal with those who oppose righteousness and justice so that all will know that You alone are sovereign and true. (Ps 64:6-9) I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant an understanding mind to govern your people, so that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight, and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Please help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. In the Name above all names Jesus our Messiah. Amen.

Lord God make Richard Blumenthal your man in every part of his life. Let him seek wisdom from you in every decision, discussion, vote, conversation he is part of. Protect his wife, family, loved ones and him, and claim every one of them for you. In Jesus most Precious and Holy name, Amen

Father God, again a person I do not know how to pray for; Lord I repent for not having true love, empathy and understanding in my heart for these Democratic representatives as I attempt to bring them before your throne. I just have a real problem relating to how they think and the things they want to do in government and Rep Blumenthal appears to be one of the most out of sync with real truth and reality, with understanding the people and the working of the Constitution. I do not know this person or his heart and soul condition, but PTL You do. I commit him to the working of Your Holy Spirit, for the outcome of his eternal soul and life, that he might be redeemed and that he might make a positive impact on other lives he encounters. Lord God, draw him unto yourself and Your purpose for his life. Oh Lord, In the Name and by the power of Jesus Christ and the Spirit he gives us, we pray for this man that You would do a work in his life, in his heart that he might see Your Will and discern your direction for his purpose and mission in Government. May he open his heart and mind to see You and Your guidance and not be prey to the whims and weaknesses of society, of false, harmful, misdirected ideologies and evil influences. Jesus, Holy Spirit, forgive us, help us and hear my words and mumblings and present them to the Father for His perfect working in lives. Thank you o' God for hearing our pleas and for Your blessing over America; I pray You do not withdraw it, but sweep the nation with Your Spirit to bring awakening and renewal to the hearts of the people unto Yourself.

As spirit filled Christian prayer warriors, we continue to lift Senator Richard Blumenthal to You, Lord. We pray for his ears to hear and his eyes to see all that You are speaking into his spirit as he represents Connecticut in the United States Senate. Bring Your Words to his remembrance when difficult decisions are before him. Convict Senator Blumenthal to put Your standards first and to uphold Your plan for America. Bring to his memory that we are meant to be one nation under God. Remind him of words written in 1818 "The People of Connecticut, acknowledging with gratitude the good Providence of God ...". We pray for the protection of Your angel armies from unrighteousness and injustice that the enemy has unleashed in America. Cause Mr Blumenthal to become aware that Your plan for America is one of justice, righteousness and moral standards as written in Your Word. In Jesus' name, Amen
