Dearest Lord, I come before You tonight lifting up Senator Schumer to You, asking that You would touch his heart and draw him close to You. May he know the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and find true joy and peace in his life. So many things have come to pass over his career in government that it is difficult to understand certain choices he has made which have endangered and harmed our people. My prayer is that he will comes to know that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and I pray that he will seek You with all his heart, not leaning to his own understanding, but putting his faith in Your guidance and wisdom. Give him a heart to understand that life begins at conception and stand for the sanctity of human life. May he stand in support of our Constitution and uphold the standards set by our founding fathers. May be stand in support of our President and present administration rather than cause conflicts and disagreements. May he work with all members of Congress to find common ground and unity.
