Jim Risch (R)

Father, I thank You for the privilege of coming before to share a prayer. You are always listening, always attentive. I pray for Senator Risch today. I pray protection over him, his family and his staff. Protect them. Give Senator Risch wisdom on how You want him to do his job to be honorable to You. Show him what to support and to vote for and against. I pray Senator Risch is diligent in his job to represent the people who voted for him. I pray he is honorable to his voters over being more focused on what he can get for himself. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Senator Jim Risch. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christian disciples who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Risch to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Jim Risch is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.

Dear Papa God, You know Jim Risch full well. You see him when he lies down to sleep, you are with him through the night and you see when he rises in the morning. I pray that you will guide him through each and every day. Help him to know and do your will. Help him to hear your voice when you say, "This is the way, walk ye in it." Give him the strength and courage to stand for your principles and give him many victories for the betterment of our country. Protect him and his family and shelter them under your wings. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

Dear Senator Risch- Thank you for serving! I am praying for you from James 1:22-24: 22 "But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not just hearers who deceive themselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; 24 for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was. person he was." Father, thank You for calling us to do more than hear Your word! You have called & equipped us to be able to do Your will! You enable us to practice what we are to do first by studying & meditating on Your word to gain understanding, & then obeying Your word by doing what it says. We desire the works of our faith to bear the good fruits of the Spirit, & not to be self-deceiving, fruitless works that bear the emptiness of vanity. Help Your word to become such a deep part of who we are that we would be quick to hear & obey. In Jesus' name we pray, amen. Blessings, Brenda Schaefer
