Father, I ask Your blessings on Senator Risch, and I ask Your continued guidance as he works with the present and incoming Congress. I pray that he knows You and the hope to which You have called him. He seems to be a man of clarity who desires to see positive changes that supports the needs of all people while ensuring a strong national security which begins with strong borders and fiscal accountability, among others things. As a rancher You have gifted him with the skills and understanding necessary to support farmers and ranchers across the nation in strengthening and meeting the needs of our people, while making prices more affordable. He understands common sense, so I ask that You continue to guide him and give him Your wisdom and discernment in effecting true change. Lord, thank You that he is a man who values and protects human life, particularly the innocent children. Thank You for his pro-life stand for the sanctity of human life. Continue to give him boldness, courage and may he walk with integrity, guided by Your righteous right hand in every decision he makes. Bless him, dear Lord, I pray, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Father, I pray for Jim Risch. Thank you for his service to you and to our country. May he seek you for wisdom and may he serve in integrity, not in seeking fame, power, or money. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a walk with you through Jesus Christ. Protect him and his family.

Father and Christ Jesus, We look to You for wisdom, guidance, and rescue from enemy deception. Please give our lawmakers clear vision to see right from wrong and to execute justice and righteousness in all their doings.

Father, I thank You for the privilege of coming before to share a prayer. You are always listening, always attentive. I pray for Senator Risch today. I pray protection over him, his family and his staff. Protect them. Give Senator Risch wisdom on how You want him to do his job to be honorable to You. Show him what to support and to vote for and against. I pray Senator Risch is diligent in his job to represent the people who voted for him. I pray he is honorable to his voters over being more focused on what he can get for himself. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Senator Jim Risch. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christian disciples who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Risch to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Jim Risch is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.
