Abba Father, grant Jim wisdom to understand your truth and courage to obey. In Jesus's name Amen

Father God, I lift this fine person before you who has chosen to serve in the public arena called politics.. I ask for a special set of blessings upon him throughout his service to the people of city, state, and nation. Gift him a special understanding of the intent and purpose of all brought before him as information and for action. Grant him the wisdom of the men of Issachar who had understanding of the times, and knew what their nation ought to do. Give unto him, his loved ones, staff, and constituents safety, health, and prosperity. Protect him and his reputation as you guide him through the many opinions presented, that he have the wisdom of Solomon to judge the truth of maters presented and act according to its honesty and value. In Jesus name I pray, Amen, Amen.

Dearest LORD, please forgive us for allowing our nation to slip into the chaotic mess we see today in every area of government and society. I come humbly to You and ask for mercy, as I repent for the lack of integrity and dreadful demise of morality. Open our eyes to see the truth, remove the scales from our eyes, that we may once again honor You as the Judge, Lawgiver, and King. I pray that Representative Himes would come to know You as Savior and LORD, that He would know the Truth, and the Truth would set him free. I see his heart is sincere when he wants to represent the needs of his State and all Americans and the rights they have in our country. However, he has followed in the counsel of those whose eyes cannot see, who have been deceived into thinking that turning from the godly example of our founding fathers is honorable and just. Holy Father, please work in his life and bring him back to the values on which this nation was formed - In God We Trust. Protect him and bless him, I ask in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Father, I pray for Representative Jim Himes. Thank you for his service to you and to our country. May he seek you for wisdom and may he not serve for money or power, but as serving you. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness so he may turn to Jesus Christ, Creator and Savior. Protect him and his family.

Dear Almighty God. I thank you that You love all people and are interested in our wellbeing. I lift up to You Rep. Himes. May he know you in a powerful way today and may he lean on Your ways and not the ways of this world. Please provide him with Your Wisdom and Truth so that he may serve his district well. Protect him and his family and provide them their needs. Help him to do his part to save the unborn. In the name of Jesus! I pray for Jim, if he doesn't know you, you will bring him into paths of those who can show him the real truth. I pray if he rejects you you will replace him in office with a true believer.

Father, I pray for Jim Himes. Thank you for his service to our country. May he seek your wisdom as he decides what is right for our country. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and the knowledge that only through you is that hunger and thirst satisfied. May he not have idols of money or power but desire to do what is right for our country.
