Roger Wicker (R)

We lift our voices in prayer and thanksgiving for Senator Roger Wicker. We pray for a revelation of Your Word of Truth and Your values into the heart/spirit of Senator Wicker. Enable him to see himself as You see him (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10), to humble himself before You (Isaiah 66:2), repent of his sins, transgressions and iniquities (Psalm 51:17; John 8:3-11), and seek Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of anyone he has sinned against (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11:25). If he does not know You as his Savior, we pray he would have a saving encounter with You (Ephesians 1: 17-23). We pray that Senator Wicker be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he serves the people of Mississippi and fulfills his duties and responsibilities in the Senate. Thank You, Father, for Senator Wicker's work in Congress, and for his courage to stand up and speak up for issues that impact American lives. Bless his bold stand for the sanctity of human life and his concern for the welfare of all Americans. Give him eyes to see past the distractions and the ability to discern what is true and what is false. Help him as he fights for fiscal accountability, national security, the integrity of our lawmakers, and many issues that need to be safeguarded from corruption and lawlessness. As former military he fully understands our needs for support, care and provision for our military troops. Give him the wisdom to see that our military is strengthened and equipped to serve our nation and world. And please guard them and keep them safe as they serve. He is likewise concerned about the needs of our veterans, so I ask your special blessings on him and on those who so selflessly served our nation and world. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we Pray Senator Roger Wicker is convicted that he is created in Your image; woven together in the womb of his mother by Your hands, from conception to birth, for Your purpose and Your plan (Psalm 139:13-16) at this time in history. Lord God, we pray he be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and to demand of himself honesty, integrity, and loyalty (Psalm 26, Proverbs 11:3), righteousness and justice (Proverbs 21:15). We pray he is convicted to measure every thought, word, decision and action against Your precepts (Psalm 111:10). We pray Mr. Wicker sees our constitution as our founding fathers intended. May he be convicted that America was discovered, explored, settled and founded as Your city on a hill (Matthew 5:14) for the purpose of sending Your message of Salvation to every person, place, tribe and nation under heaven (Rev. 14:6). We pray that he is convicted that he must be "prepared to give an account to Almighty God" (Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:12). In Jesus name, Amen

Father, we lift up every elected official in this country. We pray that You would give them strength and wisdom as they guide our country.

Lord & Savior Christ Jesus, Please protect this legislator & all legislators in America from evil. Please give them wisdom & power over the enemy. Please make them righteous & holy. Please show them The Truth, You Jesus.

"Answer me, O Lord, answer me, that this people my know that you, O Lord, are God." Father God, I lift up Senator Roger Wicker to you. I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray from Proverbs 4:23 - Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life, and the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. In Jesus name, Amen.
