Father, thank You for Senate Minority Leader John Barrasso. He has chosen to serve his country and I pray he is serving You as well. While the Supreme Court is hearing a case on the constitutionality of racial gerrymandering in Louisiana's congressional district maps, I pray for Senator Thune to lead the Senate in prudence as they consider these issues. But even more important is that he work with Senator Thune on leading the Senate to a resolution that will allow the government to open again. The shutdown is beginning to have negative effects on our citizens. I pray these things in Jesus's name. Amen.

Lord God, I lift John Barraso, Wyoming Senator, before You in prayer. I pray that he would be a 'Joshua', realizing that You have placed him in this position to claim and reclaim this land for Your plans, purposes and blessing. I pray that he will walk in plans and paths of righteousness with unusual courage, boldness and wisdom, with eyes fixed on You and ears attuned to Your instruction and guidance. I pray that You, Lord, will be honored & glorified through the life and times of Senator John Barrasso. Lord, please watch over him and those surrounding him to accomplish this. This I pray in the matchless name and authority of Jesus Christ. Amen

Father, I pray for John Barrasso. Thank you for his service to you and to our country. May he seek you for wisdom as he serves. May he not serve for money or power but in humility before you. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a desire to walk with you through Jesus Christ. Give him repentance for sin in his life. Protect him and his family.

Dear Lord, I do not know this man or anything about him, but PTL you do, so I implore that Your Holy Spirit will be working in and around his life and circumstances. I pray that he might be a man of faith who will seek your wisdom, guidance and leadership; that he will seek you for his strength and sustenance for the choices he makes, the decisions and words that he shares as a representative of the people. I pray, Father God that your Spirit will be working in and around his life and his position. Surround Representative John Barrasso with people of strong principles and truth for their working platform and their agenda for the citizens of their state and the entire USA. "For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict." (Luke 21:15) Thank you, O' Lord for hearing our pleas and may Your Holy Spirit be at work cleansing our land and our government. May Your people be strong and bold, standing up for truth and goodness for all and striving to honor you in all they do. Thank you Oh God for hearing our pleas, our petitions for our representatives. Do a powerful work in the halls of Congress that there would be more calling on your name and your wisdom. Please continue granting your Grace to America and effect a change of spirit, of attitude and direction.
