John Barrasso (R)

Dear Lord, I do not know this man or anything about him, but PTL you do, so I implore that Your Holy Spirit will be working in and around his life and circumstances. I pray that he might be a man of faith who will seek your wisdom, guidance and leadership; that he will seek you for his strength and sustenance for the choices he makes, the decisions and words that he shares as a representative of the people. I pray, Father God that your Spirit will be working in and around his life and his position. Surround Representative John Barrasso with people of strong principles and truth for their working platform and their agenda for the citizens of their state and the entire USA. "For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict." (Luke 21:15) Thank you, O' Lord for hearing our pleas and may Your Holy Spirit be at work cleansing our land and our government. May Your people be strong and bold, standing up for truth and goodness for all and striving to honor you in all they do. Thank you Oh God for hearing our pleas, our petitions for our representatives. Do a powerful work in the halls of Congress that there would be more calling on your name and your wisdom. Please continue granting your Grace to America and effect a change of spirit, of attitude and direction.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, our legislators are in a very difficult position, world governments are Satan's domain, I ask that You intercede and give them victory over the enemy.

Father God in I lift this representative of the people of his district and state before the congress in prayer. Representing the views, values, and protecting their unique abilities to contribute to this great nation. Give unto him a unique understanding in these confusing and dificult times. Make clear the intent within legislation brought before him. Give him perfect values to justly weigh these matters before the congress and the nation. Grant special health, safety, and prosperity to him, his family, and the people he represents before the nation. Preserve that which is special and dear to him. In Jesus name I pray. God be glorified in the name of your son. Amen and Amen.

Father, I bring Senator Barrasso before Your throne of grace, and I ask that You watch over him and protect him as he seeks to serve his State of Wyoming and the United States. May he be a defender of the Constitution and stand firmly on directives set forth in this document. May he be an ardent supporter of Israel, especially during this time of war. May Your Word be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path, and may he wholeheartedly seek Your guidance before making decisions. Do not allow him to be coerced or swayed in making a judgment regarding any legislation. You are his strong tower, his refuge, strength in time of need. Please bless him and mount guard around him and his family in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the opportunity and privilege of adding my voice to the spirit filled prayers that are being lifted by Your prayer warriors on behalf of John Barrasso. We pray that he cries out to You for mercy and salvation. Only You, Heavenly Father, knows where his heart stands. If John Barrasso refuses to be saved and to honor You and walk in righteousness and justice, we pray that his days in office will be few (Deuteronomy 16:18-20; Proverbs 8:20) and that another, who is a spirit filled believer in Christ be elected to take his place (Psalm 109:8), according to Your will and Your plans for the state of Wyoming and for America. In Jesus name, Amen.
