Jon Tester (D)

Oh God, Forgive me my struggle to pray for so many of our Democrat representatives. We pray that Jesus, our advocate, will take our struggles and present them Father to you for the your best working and outcome for the people and for America. Lord, you know my mind and my heart and I do struggle with being so ideologically, so constitutionally, so theoretically, so purposeful for our nation and people, so spiritually different from mostly what they speak, propose and represent. Heavenly Father, you know our concerns for the direction and the welfare of our nation and the decisions, the choices, the proposals, the actions, so many of which seem to be anti-America freedom, anti-constitutional and anti-Christianity of the progressive/leftist mindset. Father forgive me for my hard core ideology and yes, even my prejudice against the liberal/progressive and "woke" ideology. Lord God, do a work in the lives of these Democrats; bring and allow Your Spirit to be working in and around their lives and their mindset. Only you Lord know the mindset, the reasoning, the purpose of decisions and actions by Congress members and we pray Lord for their recognition of who you are and recognition of the rules and laws of the Constitution and their accountability to both. Thank you, oh God, for hearing us, for granting your mercy for a few righteous people and may your blessing and watch care continue over this nation. Let your spirit bring awakening, renewal, restoration to our Judeo-Christian foundations We pray that your Spirit would be working in and around the life of Senator Tester that he might truly know you and seek your wisdom and your guidance for his service in Congress.

I pray that God guides your steps in your efforts to become a Senator. May He keep you on the path that He has for you & grant you favor in the elections.

Father God, in Jesus holy name I raise a prayer for this public servant of his constituents. Bless and keep him, those he loves, his staff, and the people of his state with safety, health, and prosperity. Grant unto this fine gentleman the wisdom of the men of Issachar that had understanding of the times, and knew what their nation ought to do. Grant him eyes of understanding to see clearly the intent and purpose of all matters great and small before him. Prosper those he represents that the poor may be employed, prosper, and able to care for themselves. Amen and Amen.

Father, I ask Your blessings on Senator Tester who appears to desire to walk circumspectly and not in a foolish way. I pray that he knows you, and it certainly "reads" in his biography that he is a man of strong moral judgment. I pray this is so in every way. Please lead him and guide him and open his eyes to see the truth in all matters. He seems to have a good grasp on things that matter to You and to others, so please keep his feet on a straight path of justice, integrity, and transparency in all areas of government. Keep him from wrongs, and make him attentive to truth, especially as it is outlined in Your guiding words of scripture. Keep him safe, walking uprightly, speaking truth. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Father, I pray for Senator Jon Tester. Thank you for his service to you and to our country. May he not serve for power or money but as serving you. May he seek your wisdom in his decisions. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a desire to know Jesus Christ, Creator and Savior. Give him strength to resist the evil one and his temptations. Protect him and his family from those who would destroy them.

We lift our voices in prayer and thanksgiving for Senator Jon Tester. We pray for a revelation of Your Word of Truth and Your values into the heart/spirit of Senator Tester. Enable him to see himself as You see him (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10), to humble himself before You (Isaiah 66:2), repent of his sins, transgressions and iniquities (Psalm 51:17; John 8:3-11), and seek Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of anyone he has sinned against (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11:25). If he does not know You as his Savior, we pray he would have a saving encounter with You (Ephesians 1: 17-23). We pray that Senator Tester be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he serves the people of Montana and fulfills his duties and responsibilities in the Senate.
