Dear God, Thank you for men like John Thune, whom I think are working toward upholding and uplifting the Constitution and the people; keep him strong in his principles and his resolve. I pray that he is a person of real faith and strength; that he is looking to You for wisdom, guidance, knowledge and understanding, that he keeps himself surrounded by people and advisors of strong character, honesty, truth and knowledge, caring and compassion. Thank you for his boldness and strength; may he continue in that for the people of his state and the US. Provide protection and security for his life, his work , his service, his family; may his service and intentions be first to you and Your plans and purposes. Thank you for the people you are using and the ways your are working in America to work your plans and purposes and I pray to restore us to a GODLY, Compassionate and Loving people who promote and share your grace and your love, offered and declared for obedience to your precepts and commands. Display your strength for Your people and your displeasure with the disobedient to bring honor and glory to Your Name. Thank you, O Lord for hearing our pleas and our mumblings.

Father God, I lift up this fine servant of his constituents, those people whom trust him to perform his duties before the public in service to them. Oh God, mighty and everlasting make straight the paths before him. Give wisdom and clear sight of all intents set before him in legislation, personal decisions and public policies. May his balance of justice be served by true and fair weights and values. May the poor be given careers, work to care for their families. May the businesses in his district prosper. May their profits spread in works of pubic good. May the burden on the governments so be reduced. Bless the people he serves with health, strength, and compassion. Empower their ability to help those in need. May every one in his district be blessed in the doing of righteous deeds. May their baskets overflow with blessings. In Jesus Holy Name. Amen and Amen

Dearest Father, thank You for Senator Thune and his bold stand for the sanctity of human life, safeguarding our Constitution, and for security of our borders. Continue to use him to fight for the support of our active military in seeing that they are provided with the equipment and trading needed to restore them to their highest purpose in maintaining the security of our nation and others. May he stand boldly and courageously for the support of Israel in providing the support needed during this time of war. May he ensure that our nation walks beside Israel in this conflict without forcing undue pressure on the leaders of Israel. Give him wisdom and discernment as he works with Congress for solutions to the various concerns, which are many, before them. May he walk with integrity and may You uphold him with Your righteous right hand. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Dear Jesus. I lift up to You Senator Thune. May he be empowered with Your wisdom and Truth and use that Wisdom to serve SD. Keep him and his family safe and provide them their needs. Help him to be bold with his faith in You in this dark world. Help him to do his part to save the unborn. Amen

We lift our voices in prayer and thanksgiving for Senator John Thune. We pray for a revelation of Your Word of Truth and Your values into his spirit. Enable him to see himself as You see him (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10), to humble himself before You (Isaiah 66:2), repent of his sins, transgressions and iniquities (Psalm 51:17; John 8:3-11), and seek Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of anyone he has sinned against (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11:25). If he does not know You as his savior, we pray he would have a saving encounter with You (Ephesians 1: 17-23). We pray that Senator Thune be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he serves the people of South Dakota and fulfills his duties and responsibilities in the Senate. Heavenly father, watch over us senator John Thune. Lord, direct his path, make him strong and courageous to stand against evil, and for justice and truth. I pray for his salvation, if he does not know you. And for a renewed sense of his purpose in light of his salvation, if he is saved. Thank you Lord for his service and for his moral integrity. Help him to be strong and courageous in the battle that is up before him. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray amen.
