Dear Representative Davis, May the fear of the Lord never leave your heart, may you hate evil and know the God and Creator of all the earth deeper and never forsake Him. May wisdom abound in you that you will purpose to sift out all evil from our land that the Gospel will be freely preached in America and through the world. Amen and Amen

Lord God, I pray that Your Word, spoken by Christian prayer warriors, into the life of Danny Davis has taken deep root. We pray he has been convicted to see himself as You see him, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27) for Your plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10) at this time in history. We pray that Representative Davis is convicted of John 3:16, that "...God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not parish but have everlasting life," and that "...The fear of the Lord - that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding," (Job 28:28). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24), and that he is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he represents Illinois in the House of Representatives. In Jesus name, Amen.

Faithful Father God, I pray that Illinois Representative, Danny Davis, would lean on You and trust in You with his whole heart. I pray that he will not consider his own thoughts or the words and plans of others to be sufficient, but will seek Your instruction and wisdom above all. I pray that in word and deed, he will acknowledge You as sovereign and experience Your leading, provision and protection in mighty ways. I pray that Representative Davis will be an instrument of Your Hand in his part in the governance of Texas and this nation. In the name of Jesus, I gratefully pray. Amen

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Representative Danny Davis. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christian disciples who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Davis to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Danny Davis is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, I concur and agree with these words and prayer of Gary G, "I am deeply concerned about the direction that our beloved country is going", and I pray for your working in and around the lives of our Congresspersons and "leaders" of government. Father God, again this is a person I do not know how to pray for; I do not know this man or his heart and soul condition, but PTL You do. I commit Representative Danny Davis to the working of Your Holy Spirit, for the outcome of his eternal soul and his life, that he might be redeemed and that he might make a positive impact on other lives he encounters. Lord, draw him unto yourself and Your purpose for his life. Open his heart, his mind to a real and true relationship with Jesus. Oh Lord, In the Name and by the power of Jesus Christ and the Spirit he gives us, we pray for this man that You would do a work in his life, in his heart that he might see Your Will and discern your direction for his life and his purpose and mission in Government. May he open his heart and mind to see You and Your guidance and not be prey to the whims and weaknesses of society, of harmful, misdirected ideologies and evil influences and to the trends and of the destruction of freedom and liberty in America. Thank you O' God for hearing our pleas and for Your blessing over America; do not withdraw it, but sweep the nation with Your Spirit for awakening and cleansing.
