Dearest Lord, only You know the heart of Senator Durbin, his thoughts and intentions. We cease not to pray for Senator Durbin and ask that he would be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. May he place his trust in You alone, not in government or man, but fix His eyes firmly on You as the Author and Finisher of his faith. May he trust You with all his heart, leaning not to his own understanding, but seeking Your direction for each consideration for legislation. May he defend our Constitution and walk in integrity. Give him godly counselors, and may he always do the right thing, regardless of whether it is popular or not. Bless him and his family. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Lord, I pray that Senator Richard Durbin would trust You and seek You in all his ways and not lean on his own understanding. I pray that the sincere desire of his own heart would be to honor and revere You and that You would guide his steps and guard his heart as only You can.

Please Heavenly Father and Christ Jesus our Lord, protect our law makers and their families and their allies from the enemy. You have placed them in this position. Please give them wisdom and righteousness in every decision they make.

Heavenly Father, I pray for this Senstor'ssalvation if he doesn't know you and for a deeper walk if he does. Let him vote for life, truth, and justice. In Jesus name, amen.

Jesus, I lift up this man to you. I ask that you reveal yourself to him. Unmask the lies of the enemy that he may believe. Show him the truth about the ppl. who are tricking him with money and power. Bring down the corrupt and save their souls. Expose the corruption of both parties in our govt. Bless him and show him the traps set for him and this nation. In Jesus name. Amen
