Daniel 2: 20-21(NAS )"Daniel said, 'Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to Him. It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding.' Father God, Take special note of this elected servant. One who by aclimation of the people he reprisents has been placed in office to reprisent their needs, values, and standards before the nation and the world. Bless him, his house, his staff, and those he reprisents with, safety, health and welfare. Grant him great wisdom to know as the men of Issachar what the nation should do. Make clear the motives of those that seek his vote. Let every lie, half truth, or hidden agenda fall to ground before him. Preserve his honor and the reputation of his judgement. In Jesus Holy Name, Amen

Father, thank You for Senator's bold stand with the country of Ukraine as they struggle to maintain their sovereignty. Give him a heart to better understand Israel's need for US support and shows of solidarity against despotic leaders just as Ukraine fights for her rights to defend her country. Continue to use him as he stands in support of farmers and preservation of our agricultural resources. Likewise, he is very much in support of utilizing the natural energy sources we have in our country that make us independent and not in need of foreign support. Please give him the courage and boldness needed to stand strongly in defense in these two areas. Give him wisdom and discernment as he works to ensure the safety of our borders, support of our active military and veterans. May he work to ensure that the Constitution is protected and please give him a strong stance on transparency and accountability in our government. Bless him and keep him in Your care, Dear Father. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Lord I am unaware of how either conservative in his thinking or liberal Mr Durbin is. However I pray Lord that as you have put a conscience in every human being-,that your Holy Spirit fire would tug on that conscience and convict him in his heart and mind as well, and even pursue righteousness in his work to represent the people of his State Lord-,to uphold sacred tenants and godliness and constitutional Authority and stand against evil.. in Jesus mighty name amen

Lord, Sen. Durbin needs You. He holds his position because the people granted him the right to represent them. May he be found faithful to his constituents, to the Constitution of the U.S. Turn his mind and thoughts to seek You and Your wisdom just like Daniel did. May there be found no grounds of accusation or evidence of corruption or negligence. May he be found faithful in all his work and play. Protect him from harm, danger or any disabling accident. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Praying this over you, Senator Durbin Father God, it is You who raises up those in office . I praise Your Sovereignty! May You do a mighty work in Senator Durbin's heart and create in him to be a leader who restores godliness to our nation.. Take his heart of stone and give him a heart of flesh that desires Your law and honors You alone! Turn his heart and mind and soul to repentance that he may know the joy of salvation and freedom of sin only faith in Jesus can bring! I trust and believe You are always at work and waiting for his heart to be Yours. In the name of Lord Jesus~
