John Carter (R)

Lord, strengthen Texas Representative John Carter in his inner person. Draw him to Your side. Impart divine wisdom, discernment and courage to him. May he move and live in the power of Your might as he seeks You and follows Your leading and instruction. I pray that righteousness & Godly influence will mark all his ways as he serves You, his family, his state and this nation. In Jesus' Name and authority I pray, Amen.

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Representative John Carter. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christian disciples who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Carter to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that John Carter is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, May The Father allow Your government to come! "the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of The Lord of Hosts will perform this.

Oh Lord, In the Name and by the power of Jesus Christ and the Spirit he gives us, we pray for Representative John Carter that You would do a work in his life, in his heart that he might see Your Will and discern your direction for him and his purpose and mission in Congress. May he open his heart and mind to see Truth and not be prey to the whims and weaknesses of society, of harmful, misdirected ideologies and evil influences. Father, keep Rep Carter strong in his guiding principles and stances in Congress and may he seek your guidance, your wisdom and strength that he may he be a strong voice for conservatism and our Constitutional government of freedoms, rights and of Law and Order. Place your hedge of protection over him and his family. Lord God, may it be your will to send the winds of your Holy Spirit over America to bring spiritual awakening and bring a return to our Judeo-Christian heritage and Constitution Republic government. Thank you of God for hearing our pleas and for Your blessing over America; do not withdraw it, but sweep the nation with a cleaning spirit.
