Lord Jesus, I raise prayer for this elected official in the dark hours of the night. Grant and bless him with the wisdom of the men of Issachar, that had understanding of the times and knew what their nation ought to do. Protect and defend his voice as he represents the best interests of those he serves. Make clear his pathway, provide just weights for his scale of judgement in the complex issues that pass before him. Light his path as a guide that He fulfills his calling. Grant health, safety, and prosperity to him, those he loves, his staff, and those he represents through the times ahead. Amen, Amen in Jesus Name.

Dearest Lord, I bring Representative Larson before Your throne of grace, and I ask Your blessings over his life. He's had a long career, Lord, and it seems as if he desires to make easier for those he serves in his State district by providing the goods and services they need and the changes they require. Give him a clear, unhindered view of support needed that affects his State of Connecticut directly and give him godly wisdom needed to shape legislation. May he walk in wisdom, redeeming the time, and may Your Word be a lamp unto his feet and a light unto his path. Draw him closely to Your side and encourage and strengthen him. May he walk in integrity and in righteousness, upholding true justice and exposing wrongs. Bless him, Dear Father, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord, I pray that Connecticut Representative, John Larson, would seek truth and real wisdom in all his opinion-forming and decision-making. As You are the author of absolute, unchanging truth and the only source of divine wisdom, which You have told us to ask for, I ask that You would provide these to Representative Larson. I pray that he would not perform the duties of his office out of desire for money, power or position, but that his heart and actions would follow Your leading.
