Father God in Heaven, I lift Representative Pat Harrigan before You asking that You give him true wisdom, understanding and discernment and that he will receive it from You planning and acting accordingly. I pray that he will be a voice of righteousness and whatever he does, he will do well. Guide his steps and guard his heart, Lord Jesus. Amen

Father, I pray for Representative Harrigan and Senator Tim Sheehy who are sponsoring bills in their respective Chambers regarding elite special operations veterans to have nationwide firearm carry privileges under the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004. I pray for all senators and representatives in Congress to be prudent in evaluating the public safety implications of allowing nationwide concealed carry across state lines for special forces veterans. May these men "run with endurance the race that is set before them". (Hebrews 12:1b)

Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and for life with you. May he humbly seek you for wisdom as he serves our country. Protect him and his family.
