Father, I pray for George Whitesides. Thank you for his service. Turn his heart to seek your wisdom and walk in your truth. Give him repentance for sin in his life. Give him a love for unborn children and the pregnancy resource centers that help babies and their families. Protect him and his family.

Lord Jesus, if George does not know you as his personal savior, I pray that he will find you and accept you into his life. I pray that he will make the right decisions, the decisions that you would like him to make for the state of California and for his district. Jesus, please put someone in his life that will be an encouragement to him and his family to follow you.

Father God In Jesus Holy Name I pray for this fine and upright person who stands for those he represents in the halls known as politics. Father I pray you raise him up in health, safety, and understanding. As you do for those he loves and who he serves. That he know the hope of his calling into service before this nation. That he not dispise the small beginnings as each seed in the bag creates its portion of the harvest in time. Give to him the wisdom as the men of Issachar that had understanding of the times and a knowing of what the nation ought to do. May your grace and mercy flow through his offices, and his circumspection, and just judgement be known throughout the land. Amen and Amen.

Dear Father, I bring Representative Whitesides before Your throne of grace, and I ask for Your guidance as he works within Congress across bipartisan lines for the welfare of our nation. May he walk in integrity and maintain his focus on what is beneficial to all. May he do what is right regardless of how others may feel. Give him wisdom and discernment in all matters concerning our nation and the safety and welfare of all people. May he walk in unity with other members of government and with our present administration, in a manner befitting a member of this high office of government. Lord, there has been so much animosity and infighting within government, and it is time that change is made, understanding that all members of Congress represent the people who voted for them. The world is watching, and it is time that the government comes together on behalf of the national good. Please guide him and give him wisdom and courage to stand for truth honorably and with integrity and focus. May he bring glory and honor to Your Name, Lord. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
