Cisco Aguilar (D)

Oh Father God, thank You for giving us the privilege to come boldly to Your throne and converse with You. Thank You Jesus for Your sacrifice that has given us that privilege. Father, today I come to Your throne to pray for our country. I thank You that we as a country have covenant with You. We have made poor choices which have alienated us from You. For that Father I ask for forgiveness. Forgive us for being so arrogant, self absorbed, dishonorable and foolish. Forgive us for continued involvement in idolatry and child sacrifice. Oh God, we need You. I cry out to You Father, in the name of Jesus to heal our land. God, Your desire is for all to turn from their wicked ways, repent and turn to You Father. I pray for us to humble ourselves before You Father. We cry out to You. We do not know what to do but give us the grace to keep our eyes on You God. Father, I also lift up to You Cisco Aguilar. You know him Father. You knew him as he was being formed in his mother's womb. Humble him. Soften his heart towards You Father. Give Mr Aguilar dreams and visions of You. Show him the way that You would have him go. Make him a strong Christian. A man after Your own heart Father. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christian disciples who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Aguilar to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Cisco Aguilar is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.
