Thank You, Father, for the wisdom You have given Representative Thompson and for the life he leads with integrity and truth. Bless him as he continues to stand for the sanctity of human life, for families, for ensuring that families lead in the education of their children, and for healthcare that provides for the health and safety of these children and families. Thank You for his stand for election integrity, safe borders, and support of the Constitution which he promised to uphold when he was voted into office. Bless him and continue to give him a strong voice and resolute heart. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Representative Mark Thompson. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christians who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Thompson to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Mark Thompson is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.

Lord God, to govern rightly and wisely requires seeking Your participation. It is not possible without Your help. . .Your wisdom and guidance. . .Your strength and courage. This has always been and even more so in this day and time. We pray that Representative Mark Thompson would be such a leader who is wise enough and humble enough to seek You in all his ways. We pray that Mr. Thompson would understand that he cannot adequately nor efficiently carry out the great responsibility of his position without You. We pray that You would draw Him to Yourself and he would respond by drawing near to You. Guide Representative Thompson's steps and guard his heart, Lord. May he submit to the work that You desire to do in him to make him a godly man and a godly leader. In the name and authority of the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Gracious Heavenly Father, may Rep. Thompson know that it is Your hand and Your sovereign purpose that is keeping him and sustaining him in his divine commission. (Ps 38:12-15) Keep him, and those who serve him, safe from the enemy's snares and free from the accuser's traps. (Ps 141:9-10) By Your great hand, Lord, deal with those who oppose righteousness and justice so that all will know it is You alone who is sovereign and true. (Ps 64:6-9) I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing.
